I have been a Christian my whole life. In the earlier years I just accepted the title until I had a spiritual rebirth where the Spirit of God, through an experience with Jesus Christ, re-created my inner man. I have found it to be not an easy pilgrimage to walk in the ways of truth and holiness, but through the grace of God, I continue to persevere. I have found many interpretations of all religions as people took what they wanted from their belief systems and applied it to their own lives. It is a continuous warfare to reject the ways of the kingdom of darkness. Society makes it easy and presents the ways of selfishness and pleasure as a necessity for people to acquire in order to function "rationally" in our ages.
Through my experience with God Almighty, I have found it peaceful to have a love for all mankind irregardless of what they believe short of their actions being diabolical. I understand that each person must strive to attain holiness, goodness, love, compassion, etc., in their own way and in due time. I do not believe anyone should use a belief system to imprisson anyone to a regiment that does not free that believer to attain to the fullest development of what God has created and desires for that believer.
As I believe, "For God so loved the world..." I must place love at the foundation of my whole belief system. Like most people, I had to learn to change my life from living for myself and grow in ways that shines forth the love of God to all I come in contact with. And believe me, at times it was hard to love some of God`s creatures.
I believe that as people honestly share their struggles in attaining to the best that they can be, we all can change the world from a world where fear and hatred abound, to a world where we can have compassion for all mankind. My brother and sister is within the heart of every human that God has made. We all belong to Him. I desire to treat His creations with the utmost reverence and concern.
