Ok, where is the converesations!

I came looking for people who love to give either their opinions, knowledge, or rants and raves about anything and everything, and get paid doing it. I am trying to learn how to develop a business where I can translate my interests and skills into making a side income that I can eventually turn into a full time writing business.

I do a bit of this sort of thing to earn some extra cash!

My gadgets blog (needs some work doing on) has brought in some nice money just reviewing stuff.

I also have done a little paid blogging and this has earned me some extra cash, though it's a while since I had time to!

My biggie though is using Squidoo to write content about any subject I like! Not only do you get to share the adsense revenue, you can use it to promote products and earn commission! I use some that squidoo provide, but I also promote a lot of non-squidoo affiliates which is quite profitable. You can check my squidoo pages here!

Good Luck!

Thanks for the information about Squidoo. I'm definitely going to check it out. I have an account there but haven't done anything with it yet. I'm one of the members of this group who needs help making a little income from my blogs. Susan

I work from home in Sydney Australia where I maintain my website which I built using Site Build It. Their teaching has enabled me to get my site into the top 1% of all websites on the web and I enjoy a very healthy, very passive income from it.

See the DEMO and try for yourself http://demo.sitesell.com/wotsnext.html

SiteSell’s blog is the place to get all the updates on SBI. This is the public voice of SiteSell.com http://www.sbiblog.simplyseen.com

UriKa what is your site? I use I guess a competitor of the builder you use. I use Stores Online. I'm always intrested how to take my own sites and improve them or see what other people are doing to make money. I run about 5-6 now but my primary sites are: Frameology Picture Frames and Precision Scopes

Hi, I dont think you can call Stores Online a competitor to SBI. Site Build It puts together a step-by-step 10 day plan to create your own site, teaching you the process of CTPM which is quite different to putting up a store online and trying to sell something upfront.

C represents Content (we learn how to create a website with content that is in demand).

T represents Traffic (we learn how to attract targeted traffic to our site)

P represents PRE-sell (we learn how to PRE-sell the visitors to our site)

M represents monetize (make money) which is to monetize pre-sold traffic

The first site I built is Psychic-Junkie.com

Reply to This

I don't see the difference but whatever. I don't really care. I like to see what other people are up to. Looks good. I sort of follow a CTPM as well. Getting the right people to my site at the right time and have the right price for my products.

C representing content. (I picked a product line that is in demand that I want to sell)
T represents Traffic (aka...marketing. Getting visitors)
P represents....(Getting qualified buyers to my site. or maintaining a healthy conversion rate of visitors to buyers)
M represents money. (Selling them my product so I can have a 4 hour work week)

Oh no, you are missing the point (and the traffic! ). Just go to SBI and take the time to read about the CTPM process. Trust me you will never look back, you will be too busy making money. :-)

Website Metrics and Analytics

What’s REALLY important when measuring website metrics and analytics? Now that Google has officially announced that they will no longer accept any automation tools scanning their search engine for website rankings, some SEO firms and SEO webmasters are wondering what can they use for their Website Metrics and Analytics? Honestly, they should have been using other measurements way before… Continue

Local Internet Marketing For Small Businesses

Local Internet Marketing For Small Businesses August 26, 2008 by eckweb | Edit Local internet marketing for small businesses does not have to be extremely expensive. It does not necessarily mean you have to spend hundreds of dollars on adwords and local advertisements online. Instead, the same Internet marketing strategies used to market small business websites on the Internet on a global level, are used at the local level as well. A few days ago I was speaking with Mickey Arledge of… Continue

Marketing Through Twitter

The first 30 minutes of every day (well, I do tend to take Saturdays off) - but anyway. The first 30 minutes of every day I spend on my social networking. (I’d love to spend more but I just don’t have the time!) Twitter.com is one of the social media programs that I belong to. Amongst the personal comments and insights that are usually on Twitter, once in a while there’s a real business question or event or insight and those are the ones that I love t… Continue

Continue

The Real Reason Wealthy People Have Greater Health- Its Not What You Think

Monday, August 11, 2008 From the desk of Dr. John Spencer Ellis I’m frustrated. As you likely know, I am a strong advocate of complimentary medicine and holistic health care. And yet, at the same time, I know Western medicine certainly has its place. Last week I got a call from a lady who works with me. She is 25 years old, thin, healthy, athletic and eats well. However, she has reoccurring cold and flue symptoms. I told her she should see her primary care physician and request a comprehens… Continue
