About Us

Nanthi Seva Trust is a registered trust with the Charity Commissioner, Chennai. We promote the following mission and objectives. The duly elected and constituted board will manage the activities of the NST supported by our offices.
Objectives

NANTHI SEVA TRUST is a non-governmental organization engaged in the emancipation and development of the marginalised and over-exploited people through appropriate action like campaigning, organising meetings, mobilizing funds, educating poor students, networking, etc. It is a social action group aiming at social change through people empowerment, enabling the people to become the key actors in rewriting their own destiny.

The children, the women, the disabled people, the landless people, the small and marginal farmers and the slum dwellers are capacitated to change the society and to achieve their own development in the changed society. People's organisations at the grassroots level, especially, women’s organisations are formed and linked to Federations and Movements to effectively facilitate the developmental efforts.

NANTHI SEVA TRUST was registered on 05-10-2007 under the Indian Trust Act as a non-profit non-governmental organisation governed by a Board of Trustees and based at Chennai District of Tamil Nadu.

NANTHI SEVA TRUST is also widely acknowledged for its expertise in collabarating and networking with the other donor agencies and in documentation work in rapport with the media.
