Hi, travel. Thank you for invite me to join your group. I think I should join most of your group. This is because, I provide Chinese Language Learning on line, and we have students from over 50 countries. I should learn and understand the culture / lives of our students better. Best wishes.

You must look at Mysore and nearby places, in South India.

This place is uncommonly clean considering the impression people carry about India, is blessed with superb weather (between 10 and 30 degrees Centigrade throughout the year) and its people are friendly and honest.

Mysore city itself is a small, beautiful heritage town, full of superbly maintained palaces. The city itself is circular with a radius of just about 7 kms. and is not very densely populated like the rest of India. It has two large fresh-water lakes, one of which has been developed into a scenic wetland ecosystem, and has become a bird sanctuary, thanks to a multitude of resident and migratory birds including ibises, pelicans, darters, cormorants and shags, that enliven the place.

Within 150 kms of Mysore, lies Bangalore, India's Silicon Valley, besides three wildlife sanctuaries, three waterfalls, at least 5 places of pilgrimage/ religious interest and hill stations like Coorg, Ooty, etc..

    Welcome to Mysore!
