Education system in the USA
The USA has always been one of the top priorities to study for international students across the world.
However, if we compare the education system of US with India, we will
find a lot of differences. The higher education in America starts
after the twelve years of completion of primary and secondary
schooling. If you have successfully completed your 12th
grade, you are eligible to take admission in bachelor programs or
under graduate study
in USA. The Bachelor Degree
in USA has four years usually, though some accelerated programs
can be completed in three years. Some professional fields also have
five years of completion. If you finish around 40 courses in
different subjects with in four years of under-graduation, you will
receive a Bachelor’s degree or under-graduate degree.
A first year student in USA is called freshman, second year sophomore, in third year he becomes Junior and
at the fourth year he is referred as Senior. A lot of colleges
in USA give an Associate Degree after the second year or
sophomore year of a Bachelor Degree. International students from
Japan and China prefer to start their education from this level,
while Indian statistics show only 10% of Indians join at this level.
Bachelor Degree is very crucial for the beginning of a career or
profession; it is a stepping stone for a career to follow.
After successfully completing four years of Bachelor program or
under-graduate study, you are eligible to apply for the Master’s
Degree in USA. To take admission at Master degree program, you must
have four years of graduation. Therefore, students from India must
complete an additional year of degree program for eligibility.
You can find some registered agencies which evaluate the subjects studied in India with the courses
equivalent in US and issue a certificate. You require sixteen years
of formal education to get admission in a graduate program
The highest academic degree in USA for research-oriented academic disciplines is doctoral
degree or Ph.D. it requires three to six years of full time study
besides the Bachelor’s degree as preparation for university level
teaching and research. US universities have two main semester
intakes. The fall semester (September/October) and Spring semester
(January/ February). However, some universities also offer summer
intake around July. One of the pre-requisite requirements to get
admission in US universities is to qualify TOEFL/IELTS exams. To get
admission in the prestigious college of US, the scores on these exams
are also one of the prime requirements.
US Universities have two major categories – public (state supported) and private (independent).

Is an artist's "vision" primarily a product of experience or imagination? I don't want to pursue the simple answer that it's both. Is it primarily one or the other, of if it's just plain old both, how do they interact to create an imaginary world?
Is it true that some people have more artistic vision than others, or is this kind of seeing equally available to all?
