During the ore crushing process in concentrator and cement plant, crushing, screening, belt transporting and material falling will kick up some dust, which causes a great deal of harm on the environment and human health.
Along with social progress and scientific and technological development, people's life and health are increasingly important. The crushed ore in concentrator generally contain a large proportion of silica, which is commonly referred to as silicon and its dust will inevitably contain silicon. The dust is very difficult to flush out once be inhaled in human lungs, after a long time, people would suffer from severe silicosis. Therefore, anti-dust is necessary.
In order to reduce dust, we should start from the dust-proof and make dust-removal as very important dust-proof remedy. Here, we mainly introduce some experience in the dust removal process design.
Dust proof: also known as dust fall; it is a measure that crushing system must takes to control dust, it is also the most economical, most effective and the most basic measures.
Dust extraction: dust-proof cannot completely solve the problem of dust pollution in the crushing process; dust extraction refers to use mechanical equipment to make dirt pits form a local negative pressure, then absorb and remove dusts. Dust extraction measures include seal dust point, layout a reasonable pipeline system, adopt state-of-the-art and highly efficient dust removal equipment.
Dust extraction equipment: dust removal equipment can be divided into dry type and wet type. Dry type includes electrostatic precipitators, bag filter and cartridge filter; wet type includes whirlwind water film precipitator, self-excited dust collector and three-way dust removal unit.
In short, concentrator should take effective measures to proof and remove dust in crushing process so that reduce dust hazards to the environment and the human body.
