I was interested in reading about dopamine and fibromyalgia. I wonder, since too much dopamine in the brain causes symptoms of psychosis, and not enough causes Parkinson's disease, if someone taking a medication to inhibit dopamine, like Risperdal or Abilify, has a lot of aches and pains, feels burnt out does not respond to stress well, could they be on too high of a dose? Or to put it another way, could the medication cause fibromyalgia-like side effects?
