Profile Information

About Me:
Growing up I was an avid reader encouraged by my Mother who was our hometown librarian. College included over 40 semester hours in English and American literature (more than the 32 hours in my major, accounting). Later in life I became Publishing Group President for Rand McNally & Company. While there we published thousands of children's stories and coloring books, text books, business directories, adult non-fiction titles as well as the maps, atlases and travel publications for which Rand McNally is so well known and respected. And now as owner of my my own printing company, I've had the pleasure of helping thousands of other get their books printed. No wonder that book publishing and printing have always been special to me in so many different ways.
